About
Dr. Mina is a neurologist and headache specialist who cares for people living with migraine and other headache disorders. She completed her headache medicine fellowship at the University of South Florida and now practices as a headache specialist.
She grew up in a family of physicians and lives with migraine herself. That shapes how she talks about it. She describes migraine as a treatable, genetic neurological disorder, not a character flaw or a failure to manage stress.
Dr. Mina started making videos after seeing too much migraine misinformation online. As @migraineswithmina on Instagram and TikTok, she now reaches more than 190,000 people with plain-language neuroscience, takes apart viral migraine hacks, and encourages people to see a headache specialist early, before migraine becomes chronic. She has spoken at Miles for Migraine events and on podcasts including Chronically Peachy.
She is also the founder of Migsy, a migraine tracker app built to help patients log their attacks and bring better information to their appointments.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Mina is a mom.
