About
Dr. Corey Hillman is the founder of Gate City Physio, a specialty physical therapy practice in Greensboro, NC, focused on migraine, headache, jaw pain and related conditions. His clinical approach integrates musculoskeletal rehabilitation, sensory and vestibular assessment, and pain science to address the overlapping factors that contribute to persistent symptoms.
His clinical interests include the complex relationships between migraine, hypermobility and Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS), POTS and dysautonomia, and concussion-related and post-traumatic headache. He takes an individualized, brain-and-body approach to care, considering how musculoskeletal function, sensory processing and autonomic regulation interact to influence symptoms and recovery.
Dr. Hillman has advanced training in craniofacial therapy through the Craniofacial Therapy Academy (CRAFTA) and in pain science through the Integrative Pain Sciences Institute. He holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology from UNC Greensboro and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Baylor University. He also teaches in higher education, with a strong interest in interdisciplinary education and evidence-informed approaches to complex conditions.
